Subject: Trip to Armenia

Dear Hripsime:

Have been meaning to write but something is always coming up.

We had a very successful trip to Armenia and every one in

our group was very happy with the arrangements that you made.

The apartment was better than we expected and the tours that

you arranged gave us a feeling that the trip was not wasted

and will be something we will all remember for years to come.

Our guide "Ana" was the best we could expect and both drivers

were exceptional and we always felt safe even in the mountains.

The knowledge that Ana had of not only the places we visited

but of the country and it's history was exceptional.

If I know of anyone or we come back I most surley will have them

contact your agency.

We ran into other tours at some of the places we visited and in

listening in we know we had the best available guide in Yerevan.

Thank you again:

Dear Hripsime,
I just wanted to thank you one more time for your wonderful assistance in planning my trip to Armenia and for coordinating all the excursions I wanted to take in the little time I had.

I also wanted to let you know that Hovik was an excellent driver throughout; good-natured, courteous, and helpful. I appreciated his companionship and his willingness to accommodate the changes I made to my itinerary during the trip.

I will surely be contacting you again upon my next trip to Armenia.

Best always,
Aram

Dear Anna, Anahit, Arsen and Azat,

We’ve finally returned home from our vacation from Armenia, Turkey and Italy and we wanted to thank each of you for all you did to make our trip so special and unforgettable. We’ve shared many stories about each of you already with so many of our friends and family-you are each well on your way to becoming famous here in San Jose.

Anahit, you would make a wonderful teacher because you have a real passion for Armenia’s culture and heritage. We’ve been on tours before where we’ve felt that the guide behaved like a parrot, reciting the facts about each place from memory .But, when you traveled with us we felt we were traveling with a friend who was excited to show us a world so different from America.

Azad, we loved visiting your school and meeting the teachers and your principal. And it was really special to meet your former student at the monastery in Van. His respect and comments show what a great teacher you’ve been. And, of course, what we’ve loved best about you as a guide was the fun we had just traveling with you and Arsen  and letting us share in the bond of friendship you two have.

And Arsen, you are not only the most amazing driver we’ve ever ridden with, you were also a fantastic guide. We love telling stories about how you found the best hatchapouri in Emerouli, Georgia by asking the fattest man you could find...and thanks for taking us on the “night tour” through the streets of Van the first night we arrived there and introducing us to dondourma! Your ability to be friend everyone so easily is such a great gift-you’re really, really special.

Of course, Anna, we wouldn’t be writing such a letter if you hadn’t worked so hard to put this trip together with such great people as Anahit, Arsen and Azat.It was really a surprise and a real treat to meet you after all those e-mails. Thanks for taking time out of your day to see us and share food at Artbridge.

Thanks to all your work, many of our family are beginning to explore how they can visit the homelands of their ancestors.

Dear Hripsime,
we're safely back home and I would like to thank you for the perfect organisation of our tour. Armenia and Georgia have been much better than we expected and people have been extremely friendly. Countries to be remembered!

Please thanks also all the people that have been with us in the tour, expecially Hovik (Giovanni), Liana and the Georgia guide, they have made our tour unforgettable.

Again thanks, and who knows, maybe see you again.....

Anna, we are all at home and preparing a family get together to share our pictures and stories from our trip. I wanted to thank you once again for making our visit to Armenia such a memorable and fund experience. Your careful planning and your staff's kindness and care for we "tourists" made the experience a very special one for us all. I hope someday you will visit us here in California. June Johnston from the Denise Delong "family group".

Dear Anna,
Thank you for our wonderful vacation.  We so enjoyed working with you and Arsen and Anahid forgive my spelling.  We truly enjoyed Anahid and her expertise on Armenia.  She was a delightful woman always looking after our needs.  Arsen was a wonderful guide: very knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around.  He made our long drives go much faster with stories, music, and watchings for Jonavar.  The hotel rooms were comfortable, breakfasts delicious and the route through Georgia to Turkey was an adventure that we will impress our friends with.   Bitlis was a very emotional visit for us.  We all kept imagining our grandparents living in the town. My mother was able to see our video of her parents' hometown.  She was so happy.  That made the trip worthwhile.Denise and Jim are in Italy and I know they will be emailing you as soon as they get home.  We do have some pictures Dan will share with you, Arsen and the people we met along the trip.

Again our sincere thanks for making our vacation so memorable.

Sincerely,
Pauline and Dan Gilmour

Our trip to Armenia

Dear Hripsime,

First of all I have to thank you for a wonderful vacation. In all my vacations I always get homesick pretty soon, and I want to return to my home and work. This time, i came back dragging my feet! ( and this was my longest vacation !)
I would like to tell you some comments.
The guide Anahid is a very sweet girl. Thank her for me.
Nare in Kharabagh was exceptionally well informed. We loved her.
Hovig is a treasure.Do not spoil him by telling him but he is a big reason why I will recommend Menua to my freinds, and of course for me next year !
As for your planning, it was perfect. Hope you will be able to match it next year !
In all the designated spots, the only day that we were really disappointed was when we were taken to the ceramic place. For the sake of Menua, for good business reasons, eliminate that from your program. Absolutely  useless, and so primitive that  it should not represent  ceramic work in Armenia.
May be because we are familiar with the Jerusalem Kotahia works, or to be honest, in the United states, in any High school kids do ceramics better than that !
One more point. Add Yeraplure to your list. Its good I had info from my sister to visit it. A very, very moving monument. I am also very happy that i visited the tomb of Gomidas, and his companions. We will visit Medzamor next year.
Again, from all of us thank you for a wonderful vacation, and please thank Hovig, Anahid and Nare for us.

Best Regards
Vahe & Anahid Kurdian

Hi Liana,
Good to hear from you! Hope everything is going well for you.

Please send us any materials you think we'd be interested in. Even if we're unable to return to Armenia next spring, we'll be glad to share the materials with friends who have expressed interest in going. We have shared our wonderful trip with many friends, and have recommended your company, as well as Hripsimi and Hovic to all of them.
We have told our friends that Hripsimi and Hovic were probably the best guide and driver we have had on any trip we've ever taken, and to contact you, and ask for them if they decide to travel to Armenia.
We'd appreciate it if you would also send materials to our friends?
It's quite possible they may be interested in taking a trip to Armenia next year. If so, we have advised them to contact you.
Please say hello to Hripsimi and Hovic for Jeanette and I. We think of them often, and wish the best for them! They are very special people, and helped make our trip something that we'll never forget!
If she wouldn't mind, we'd also appreciate it if you could give us Hripsimi's e-mail address. We'd like to be able to keep in contact with her and Hovic.

Jeanette and I hope that all of you stay well, and hope to see you again someday.

I just want to emphasize what a fantastic time we had during our two week stay.  Liana, Vardan and Hovik made the experience extremely enjoyable, and we will never forget them.  Thanks again to everyone at Menua for arranging such an incredible journey

Armenia Trip

Dear Hasmik and Liana,
I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful tours that Menua provided us during our recent visit to your country. Everyone enjoyed the trip very much. As a matter of fact, it was one of the best holidays my family has taken. The drivers were very good and professional. They were friendly and extremely helpful. The guide in Georgia was good also. Our Armenian guide, Anna was the best. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. She was truly delightful. The trip went so well, I intend to send another group next summer at about the same time. I will be in contact with you after the beginning of 2006 to plan the next trip. Please pass our thanks and best wishes to all who helped us. Also, please send me the proper mailing address of your office and the name of your boss. Thanks again.

Best regards,
Mike Dallas

Thanks

Dear Liana:

Unfortunately we didn’t have the occasion to say personally goodbye to you before leaving Yerevan.

Let me tell you that our trip to Armenia was a complete success and that it even exceeded our expectations. The natural beauty of your country and its historical and artistic monuments are just impressive. Nevertheless it was the human quality of the people we met what impressed us the most.

A great deal of the merit for our successful holidays in Armenia has been based in the quality of the service received from the professionals of Menua Tours. This was the case for the drivers, in particular Shalem (was this his name?). To support thirteen noisy Spaniards for a week while driving a bus is something that requires a lot of patience and good sense of humour!

And what to say about Mariam? During our long trip back to Madrid we only talked about her sympathy, her deep knowledge of the Armenian culture and the efforts she did to satisfy our continuous (and some times irrational) demands. Please express to Mariam our most sincere congratulations and gratitude for the superb job.

Thanks also to you and the rest of the Menua team for the excellent organization of our trip.

With our best personal regards

“The Spanish party”

Dear Liana & Christine:
A very late BIG THANK YOU for extending another great service to one of my clients, Mrs. Menakian & her son Armen.
Hermine said everything was absolutely perfect, and they had a great time. Your office was very helpful making slight changes and the drivers were excellent and knowledgable. Their only regret was that they could have spent another night in Nagorno Karabakh, they loved it so much.
Hopefully next year I will be coming with my family (for the first time!). it will be in May and I will let you know.
Best regards to all of you and again many thanks

Hello Rubina,
My name is Rouben Ovanespour, I was visiting Yerevan from Sept 1 - Sept.14.
We had a very wonderful time. We had rented a car from your company and the driver you had provided, Arsen Ghoukasyan, really went out of his way to insure we had the most pleasant experience possible. I am a business owner and wish I could have 10 employees like Arsen. He was professional, courteous, and again went way beyond his duties to accommodate our needs.
Arsen should be commended. Please extend my gratitude to Arsen. If I go back to Yerevan again next year I will definitely utilize your companies services again.

Thank You

THANK YOU Liana, etc.

Dear Liana,

THANK YOU for providing such wonderful help to me during my stay in Armenia during the past two weeks.
You were very helpful in answering my questions and providing informational material so that I could better decide what to see.
As it was, I took advantage of two of your tour shuttles to Garni and Geghard and Khor Virap. Hripsime , your tour guide, surprised us with her wealth of knowledgeable and helped make our trip to Khor Virap even more meaningful . I also thank her for her knowledge gained from the Matenadaran re: Mesrop Mashtot's creation of the Armenian alphabet. This was very helpful to me to get a sense of our alphabet's start.
Your driver A., (shame on me for forgetting his name once again) was very helpful to us not only on the tour but also in helping me get through the process at Zvartnots airport. I was pleased you offered this service and was pleased he was driving us to the airport Thursday morning.
I am keeping your information brochure and also your web site information so that we can refer you to others who make the trip to Armenia and  so that we can use your services once more when I return, this time with my husband.
Once again, THANK YOU for your kindness, helpfulness and quality service. May your business continue to prosper and grow so that we can help many more people in the years to come.

Smilingly,

Brenda Avadian, M.A.
